We offer holistic healthcare for the whole family in a serene and welcoming waterfront setting in Stonington, Connecticut. We are dedicated to promoting health and wellness through a variety of healing modalities. Our team works to provide personalized care in a tranquil environment where each patient feels supported on their healing journey. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Stonington, CT for a Medical Receptionist / Office Manager. This position involves managing front desk operations, greeting patients, answering phone inquiries, scheduling appointments, coordinating patient communication, and helping maintain a welcoming and organized office environment. Additional responsibilities include assisting with insurance-related administrative tasks, supporting office operations, creating social media posts and marketing emails, and helping promote the center's services, events, and appointment availability. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, detail-oriented, and enjoys both patient interaction and helping the practice grow. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients with kindness and professionalism Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries Manage patient communication and appointment confirmations Handle insurance verification and basic administrative tasks Maintain an organized, calm, and welcoming office environment Assist with office operations, supplies, and daily workflow Support the practitioner and team with administrative coordination Create engaging social media posts and marketing emails to help educate the community about our services, wellness offerings, and appointment availability Help market the center in a warm, professional, and uplifting way so people understand how we can support their health and healing Assist in promoting specials, events, openings, and wellness education through social media and patient communication Qualifications Prior medical reception, front desk, or office management experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask Comfortable with computers, scheduling software, phones, and basic office technology Professional, dependable, compassionate, and personable Strong phone etiquette and the ability to handle a high volume of calls professionally Experience scheduling appointments and managing front desk operations in an organized and friendly manner Comfortable discussing insurance-related information with patients and helping resolve basic issues Enjoys creating social media content and marketing communications Comfortable writing marketing emails, creating posts, and helping promote the practice in a positive and professional manner Creative, motivated, and able to communicate in a warm and engaging way Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus Interest in holistic health and wellness is a plus High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in medical office administration is beneficial What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Friendly and personable Self-motivated and proactive Calm under pressure Professional yet compassionate Creative and enthusiastic about helping the practice grow A true team player who enjoys helping others Benefits Supportive and positive work environment Opportunity to grow within the practice Meaningful work helping people improve their health naturally Friendly and uplifting environment with wonderful patients and team members To apply, please send your resume and a brief introduction telling us why you would be a great fit to: meganmarco7@gmail.com We look forward to meeting you!
