In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional front desk support while assisting with clinical tasks that ensure smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as Epic or similar platforms Collect and document patient information, including vital signs and medical history, ensuring compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, performing aseptic techniques, and supporting optical or ophthalmology procedures Manage medical records accurately, including filing, updating, and retrieving patient files while maintaining confidentiality Support intake procedures by verifying insurance details, updating medical histories, and facilitating patient questions or concerns Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment for patients and staff Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless clinic flow, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow efficiently Skills No skills needed. Just a desire to work and learn. Retail sales experience or retail math skills are a plus for managing inventory or product sales within the clinic setting This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their healthcare career by blending administrative expertise with clinical responsibilities.
