We're looking for a dynamic Medical Records Manager / Activity Manager to join our team and make a meaningful impact every day. In this unique dual-role position, you'll keep critical medical records organized and compliant while also creating fun, enriching activities that brighten residents' lives. What You'll Do Medical Records Management Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date resident medical records Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations Coordinate documentation with nursing, therapy, and administrative teams Manage admissions, discharges, and record requests efficiently Audit records for completeness and accuracy Activity Management Plan and lead engaging recreational and social activities Create programs that support residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being Organize holiday events, games, outings, and wellness activities Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships Work closely with families and staff to enhance quality of life What We're Looking For Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Experience in healthcare, medical records, or activity coordination preferred Knowledge of HIPAA and medical documentation standards Creative, compassionate, and energetic personality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why Join Us? Requirements:
Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, or similar degree, preferred. Licenses/Certification None. Experience Six months experience in a long term care environment preferred. Two years' experience as a Medical Records Clerk or with record keeping responsibility in a health care setting. PCC experience preferred.
