Medical Technologist

Job Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures and quality standards Analyze blood, tissue, and body fluid samples using laboratory instruments and equipment Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and related equipment Review and verify test results for accuracy before reporting findings Maintain accurate patient records and laboratory documentation Follow infection control, safety, and compliance guidelines at all times Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure timely patient care Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities within the laboratory Ensure proper specimen collection, handling, labeling, and storage procedures Adhere to hospital policies, laboratory protocols, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, or related allied health field Minimum 2 years of Medical Technologist experience in a hospital setting preferred Current ASCP Certification required Current BLS Certification through AHA required Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Pay:

$50.00 - $54.00 per hour
