Job Description
Bradford, VT | Full-Time |Starting at $21/hour with potential for higher pay based on experience. Earn an additional $1/hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts! This role is essential to ensuring medication safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality care for the people we serve. What You'll Do as a Medication Coordinator Support and oversee residents' self-administration of medications in accordance with training, policies, and regulations. Manage medication systems, including receiving, organizing, packing, and monitoring medications, refills, and PRNs. Maintain accurate medication records (MARs) and documentation within the electronic health record to ensure regulatory compliance. Coordinate with clients, treatment team members, prescribers, and pharmacies regarding medication needs, changes, and renewals. Assist with scheduling medical appointments and communicating relevant updates to the care team. Monitor medication errors or discrepancies, ensure timely reporting, and support corrective actions as needed. Assist with staff training, competency support, and medication-related education in collaboration with nursing and leadership. Join Our Team Required Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems. Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in direct care or supporting adults with mental health needs. Education in a human service-related field Working knowledge of mental health diagnoses and person-centered care Certification as a Clinical Medical Assistant or comparable experience CPR/First Aid certification Ready to Join Us?
