As the Harbor Director, your ultimate responsibility is delivering excellent care and engaging life enrichment for all our residents in Harbor, which requires intimately knowing every resident in Harbor and their unique needs.
Other primary responsibilities include:
Ensure accurate and timely assessment for residents in Harbor, and prepare or approve all service plans and care plans for residents in Harbor, so that residents in Harbor reliably receive the care they need when they need it Direct and supervise resident care and engaging life enrichment in Harbor by hiring, managing, scheduling and mentoring compassionate and competent Harbor team members Consistently utilize and monitor her (electronic medical records), medication management and other clinic systems to ensure care for residents in Harbor is accurately tracked and delivered consistent with each residents care plan Educate and train all Harbor team members on her, medication management and other clinic systems to deliver consistent, quality care to all residents in Harbor Responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance with all applicable agencies on all matters related to all care and safety for residents in Harbor Coordinate and communicate care needs for residents in Harbor with residents (where applicable) families and residents medical professionals in a timely, transparent and empathetic manner
Requirements:
Team Leader Position:
This position is a team leader (i.e., department manager) and more than half of the individual's actual time will be devoted to supervising more than two other team members on a regular basis. The individual is responsible for exercising discretion and judgment, with authority to make decisions on matters relating to resident care and engagement in Harbor. However, as in any team, it's imperative that this team leader fluidly communicate with other team leaders, the Resident Services Director and the Executive Director on all matters of importance. The responsibilities of this position require that the individual remain accessible and on-call to address emergent issue related to resident care and will be required to periodically work evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferred 5-7 years of experience leading and mentoring a team of care partners and med techs Experience interacting with and deeply relating to seniors with dementia Meets all applicable licensing and background requirements Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Alignment with Tenfold core values: curiosity, creativity, resilience, compassion, intention, and contribution Tuesday
