• Part-time, Full-time Sacopee Valley Health Center Porter, Maine | Federally Qualified Health Center Mental/Behavioral Health Clinician Full-Time or Part-Time | Hybrid (Clinic + School-Based) About the Position Sacopee Valley Health Center (SVHC) is seeking an LCSW, LCPC, or LMSW-CC to join our team as a Mental/Behavioral Health Clinician in a hybrid role.

This is a unique dual-site opportunity — approximately half of your time will be spent working within SVHC's integrated primary care clinic, and the other half providing behavioral health services at the SAD 55 school district (our local school district). In the clinic setting, you will work alongside our primary care providers to help patients more effectively manage the behavioral aspects of their physical and mental health conditions, including chronic illness and substance use. You will provide short-term, solution-focused assessments and interventions — including crisis intervention during regular working hours — across a general patient population that includes adolescents and adults. In the school setting, you will work directly with young people, providing mental health support in an educational environment. Telehealth from home is available when needed. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate brings: A valid State of Maine license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMSW-CC — or current license eligibility Ability to provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy; perform psychosocial assessments and diagnose behavioral/mental health and substance use conditions Strong communication, teamwork, and consultative skills A high degree of flexibility — this role moves between two distinct settings and populations Comfort working both independently and collaboratively within an integrated care team Proficiency with electronic health records and scheduling systems Current BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience in a healthcare setting (preferred) Experience working with children and adolescents (a plus) Supervision & Schedule We will provide clinical supervision for LMSW-CC candidates working toward full licensure. Part-time arrangements will be considered for the right applicant. Clinical oversight is provided by the Director of Behavioral Health Services.
