6AM-2PM Sunday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday (Off Monday/Tuesday) Job Summary The Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining merchandising standards, supporting sales initiatives, and providing exceptional customer service across assigned retail accounts. This role ensures products are properly stocked, rotated, displayed, and presented according to company standards while building strong customer relationships and supporting account sales activities. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced field environment. Job Responsibilities Service assigned merchandising routes and maintain product presentation standards at retail accounts Rotate product from back stock to shelves, displays, and cold vault locations Review product code dates during each account visit and remove damaged, expired, or unsellable product Notify appropriate sales representatives regarding out-of-stock, damaged, or expired products requiring replacement or pickup Ensure product placement complies with store schematics and merchandising standards Assist Account Sales Managers with display setup, product placement, and promotional activities Build and maintain permanent and temporary displays to support sales growth Maintain cold equipment, racks, and point-of-sale materials in clean and presentable condition Cover sales or merchandising routes as needed Monitor competitor activity including pricing changes and product launches and communicate findings to management Build and maintain professional customer relationships to increase sales opportunities and shelf space Participate in scheduled sales meetings and team activities Support company branding and merchandising initiatives Perform additional duties as assigned Job Requirements High School diploma or GED required Must be at least 21 years of age Prior merchandising, sales, retail, or beverage industry experience preferred Knowledge of the beverage market preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Good organizational and time management abilities Basic mathematical skills required Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Reliable personal vehicle available for work use with required insurance coverage DOT Medical Card required Ability to work independently and manage route responsibilities effectively Work Experience Previous merchandising, route sales, retail stocking, or beverage industry experience preferred Experience supporting promotional displays and retail product placement preferred
