OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

Forged Golf Club is seeking a PGA-certified Teaching Professional to deliver high-quality, individualized golf instruction to our members and guests. This is a flexible 1099 engagement designed to complement an active teaching schedule — ideal for a professional who wants access to premium TrackMan technology and a motivated client base without the overhead of managing a private facility. The right candidate will elevate the instructional experience at Forged and help drive lesson program growth through exceptional teaching and client relationships.

SCOPE OF INSTRUCTION

Deliver private and semi-private lessons utilizing TrackMan launch monitor data and simulator technology Conduct swing analysis, ball-flight diagnosis, and personalized improvement planning for each student Design and lead structured lesson packages (beginner series, skills intensives, on-course simulation sessions) Provide short game, putting, course management, and mental game instruction as applicable Develop and maintain individualized student progress notes and lesson records Promote lesson offerings to Forged members and recommend appropriate programming for skill level Conduct group clinics or instructional workshops upon mutual agreement with ownership

TRACKMAN & SIMULATOR INSTRUCTION

Leverage TrackMan data (club speed, ball speed, spin rate, launch angle, shot shape) to diagnose and correct swing tendencies Guide students in interpreting their own data to build self-awareness and accelerate improvement Utilize simulator course play for situational instruction, pressure practice, and on-course strategy Stay current with TrackMan software updates, features, and instructional best practices

CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain active PGA of America membership in good standing throughout the engagement Carry personal professional liability (errors & omissions) insurance — certificate required prior to first session Book and manage lesson scheduling in coordination with Forged's booking system Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled sessions; provide advance notice of cancellations Represent Forged Golf Club professionally in all guest-facing interactions Adhere to all Forged facility policies, including BYOB policy, bay usage rules, and guest conduct standards Invoice Forged Golf Club per agreed compensation schedule; maintain own tax records

QUALIFICATIONS

Active PGA of America membership required; Class A status preferred Demonstrated experience delivering golf instruction in a simulator or indoor facility environment preferred Proficiency with TrackMan or equivalent launch monitor technology strongly preferred Proven ability to teach golfers across all skill levels — beginners through competitive players Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build lasting student relationships Self-motivated with the ability to manage an independent client schedule Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

Compensation will be structured on a per-session fee or revenue-share basis, to be negotiated and formalized in the Independent Contractor Agreement. Forged Golf Club will provide exclusive bay access during scheduled lesson times at no cost to the contractor. The contractor retains the right to set their own instructional rates within guidelines agreed upon with ownership. Specific terms — including bay rental offsets, package pricing splits, and minimum session commitments — will be outlined in the executed agreement.

Independent Contractor Notice:

This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement. The PGA Teaching Professional will not be treated as an employee of Forged Golf Club for federal, state, or local tax purposes. The contractor is responsible for all self-employment taxes, licensure maintenance, and liability insurance. Compensation terms will be formalized in a separate Independent Contractor Agreement.
