Merchandiser/Truck Assistant - Beer/Beverage Sales

If so, Pope Distributing Company is looking for a Merchandiser / Truck Assistant to help keep our beverage products stocked, organized, and looking great in stores across our market. This is a hands-on, active role where you'll work alongside our route drivers and sales team to ensure our products are always presented at their best. What You'll Do As a Merchandiser, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent service to our retail partners by: Product Merchandising & Inventory Stock, rotate, and face beverage products on shelves, displays, and coolers Ensure all displays and company coolers are clean, organized, and fully stocked Manage and organize product in store backrooms Track and report product inventory using route accounting software Remove and report expired or damaged products Delivery & Product Handling Assist route drivers with product deliveries Safely move products, pallets, and empties to prevent damage Maintain organized storage areas in retail locations Retail Partner Support Build positive relationships with store managers and staff Represent the company professionally in every account Communicate product needs, opportunities, and issues with the sales team Physical & Work Requirements This is a physically active role , perfect for someone who enjoys staying on the move. Regular standing, walking, bending, and kneeling Frequently lifting 40+ lbs Occasionally lifting up to 160 lbs with assistance/equipment Operating a motor vehicle and/or equipment as part of daily duties This is a safety sensitive role, so being able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening is required.
