Position Title METRC Specialist Job Description What You Will Do Monitor physical inventory to ensure accuracy and full compliance with state regulations Tag and label plants, harvest batches, and cannabis materials with precision Conduct inventory cycle counts across cultivation, processing, manufacturing, and distribution environments Track, weigh, and log plant destruction throughout the production lifecycle Accurately record all movement of cannabis seed, plant material, and finished goods in METRC Maintain and update METRC records in real time to ensure system accuracy Physically verify inventory to ensure consistency between records and actual stock Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance documentation as required Serve as a point of contact for METRC-related questions and support across departments Act as a leadership resource for METRC processes, helping guide best practices and ensure consistency across teams Work directly with management to reconcile inventory records with physical counts and purchase documentation Investigate and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies with the Production and Fulfillment Manager Ensure accurate labeling and product identification at all stages of production Maintain strict compliance with all state regulations, security protocols, and company policies Support overall team productivity and workflow to maintain accurate inventory operations All other duties as assigned by management What Success Looks Like Consistently maintains accurate, audit-ready METRC records Demonstrates high attention to detail in tracking, labeling, and documentation Ensures real-time accuracy between physical inventory and system records Supports team efficiency and cross-department workflow in a fast-paced environment Identifies and helps resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively Demonstrates leadership capability by guiding METRC accuracy and best practices Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Eligible to obtain a Missouri Medical Marijuana Agent Identification Card Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong computer literacy and ability to learn inventory tracking systems Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments Leadership capability or potential strongly preferred Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 10-50 pounds as needed Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time Ability to work in a production environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or extended shifts if required Cannabis or inventory management experience strongly preferred but not required Compensation Base pay: $20.00 per hour Work Location Agri-Genesis Production Facility -
