Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Actively support the company's calibration program and procedures. 2. Operate and maintain the company's calibration software and records, and ensure the accuracy of these records. 3. Scheduling calibrations and carrying out calibration of in-house instrumentation and standards. 4. Provides input on the generation of new procedures and manufacturing practices, where necessary. 5. Maintain effective document control systems for the calibration department. 6. Trend and analyze performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of calibration systems. 7. Work with Production, Inspection, and Engineering teams as required to facilitate calibration activities. 8. Responsible for the management and condition of the Company's calibration equipment. 9. Attend training programs for Calibration as required. 10. Capable of setting/implementing new inspection technologies, as well as communicating usages both internally and externally with clients. 11. Provide support to factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and processes. 12. Management of all calibration-related nonconformance reports (NCRs). 13. Assessment, development, and management of calibration suppliers, out-sourcing, and contractors. 14. Ensure the suitability of existing inspection equipment through Gage R&R and other studies. 15. Perform Shipping Documents Verification (SVD). 16. Performs other duties as assigned.
