In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to lead and provide engineering support on a wide range of projects including real world vehicle collisions and fires.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to partner with our senior staff and subject matter experts to grow their consulting practice. You will be responsible for Traveling to inspect crashed vehiclesAnalyzing the performance of vehicles in severe collisions and crash testingApplying expertise in fuel system design and automotive engineering to address defect claims in an adversarial litigation environmentWriting complex technical reportsBuilding and cultivating strong client relationshipsDriving consulting business growth by identifying new opportunities through project delivery, client engagement, and participation in professional development activitiesCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scientifically rigorous and impactful solutions to complex technical challengesSupporting project planning and executionMentoring junior staff by providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment You will have the following skills and qualifications Ph.D. or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of industry or research experience in fuel system designExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusionsA collaborative mindset and experience working in multidisciplinary teamsProject management experience, including coordinating tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of technical projectsA commitment to professional growthProfessional Engineering, Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, and/or a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator license is preferredApplicants are encouraged to submit a CV with publications (feel free to include publications that are in review or pending) [not restricted to 1 page].
