Job Description

ACLC is seeking an experienced, qualified LADS Integrator to help the Northern Strike Plans Group synchronize special operations requirements, conventional-force coordination, external support, and exercise execution actions across the Joint Exercise Life Cycle. Northern Strike is a joint, multinational Combined Arms Live Fire Exercise that builds readiness across participating services and components. Duties and Responsibilities Manage special-operations planning inputs to the exercise execution matrix and support exercise life-cycle planning gates. Analyze unit requirements and develop solutions that comply with organizational, joint, and exercise requirements. Provide reports, technical guidance, mentorship, and SOF subject-matter expertise to participating units and conventional-force partners. Review Mission Essential Tasks (METs) and help integrate them with applicable Universal Joint Tasks and Joint Mission Essential Tasks. Coordinate support from commands, military agencies, Department of Defense and non-government organizations, higher headquarters, operations personnel, leadership, and Range Control. Attend overlapping Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) meetings, working groups, and internal planning synchronization sessions. Coordinate with fires, maneuver, aviation, mobility, personnel recovery, SOF participants, and exercise leadership. Support Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) and 08JTCP force and funding requests as directed. Operate in the exercise headquarters during execution as an LNO, providing subject-matter expertise, deconfliction, synchronization, and support-request tracking. Collect lessons learned and best practices; support the Lessons Learned SME with After Action Report and Joint Lessons Learned Information System inputs. Coordinate with SOF Centers of Excellence to refine desired training for future exercise evolutions. Qualifications Minimum five years of experience planning and coordinating joint air control in a Joint Operations Area for a Combined Live Fire Exercise. Demonstrated experience supporting Mission Command at Brigade level or higher within the past five years. Expertise in Mission Command, the Military Decision-Making Process, and Joint Operational Planning Process functions. Experience with Joint CALFEX planning and orders procedures. Working knowledge of SOF mission requirements and the ability to support units performing or training for Direct Action, Strategic Reconnaissance, Counter-Weapons of Mass Destruction, Unconventional Warfare, Foreign Internal Defense, Security Forces Assistance, Hostage Rescue and Recovery, Counterinsurgency, Foreign Humanitarian Assistance, Military Information Support Operations/Psychological Operations, and Civil Affairs. Ability to analyze requirements, communicate clearly with military and civilian stakeholders, produce decision-ready written products, and manage multiple concurrent planning actions. Ability to work on-site in Lansing and travel as required by the contract. Active U.S. Secret security clearance as required for contract performance, or the ability to satisfy applicable Government access and security requirements.
