Job Description

Job Summary:
Coordinate, participate and direct tool room activities Responsibilities Mold preps - Basic die maintenance, Metal Removal, Basic trouble shooting. Trim Die - Basic trim die maintenance, changing of cutters, sharpening of cutters and trouble shooting. Performing PM's on mold dies Basic plumping skills of stainless tubing. Overhead Crane Operation Fork Truck Operation Good basic mechanical skills Self-motivated and a go getter, respectful to production casting customers. Blast booth operation Regularly scheduled follow up training and competency evaluation will take place annually and be included with an employee's annual evaluation summary and maintained by HR in the employee records. Required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the supervisor. Complies with the following
OSHA Safety Standards:
Hazard Communication; Bloodborne Pathogens; Lockout; Permit Required Confined Space; Hot Work Permit; Powered Industrial Trucks; P.P.E. and Ergonomics When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job Ensures that production receives prompt and effective assistance when called. They are the customer. Other duties as assigned Academic Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Required Skills & Experience Works in a fast-paced environment under minimum supervision. Routine responsibilities and duties involve the use of various procedures and the application of clearly prescribed standards of practice, requiring the use of good judgment. Must work with a high degree of accuracy. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Walking Repetitive lifting of objects (under 5 lbs., over 5 lbs.) Repetitive manual movements (e.g., keyboarding) Carrying pushing or pulling objects (under 5 lbs., over 5 lbs.) Crouching, climbing Health, Safety and Environmental Follow the Health, Safety and Environmental Program as reflected in the Health and Safety Policy Statement as well as the Environmental Management System (EMS). Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and the Quality Policy.
