Job description We are looking for a skilled candidate with excellent attention to detail for the position of Shipping & Receiving Associate at our Muskegon, MI bakery. This position is responsible for optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, managing inventory by utilizing tablets and scanners. We ask that you have a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. This is a 2nd shift position from 12pm-8pm. Overtime available! Bring your knowledge and your motivation to: Coordinate the receiving of our ingredients from our suppliers. Organize the storage of our ingredients and breads in an efficient and effective manner. Coordinate the shipping of our breads to our customer. Maintain forklift equipment by performing routine pre and post inspections. Count assigned locations daily and report discrepancies to Supervisor. Manage the loading and the unloading of the trucks (Hilo/forklift experience required) Our bread is frozen, so 75% of your day will be in our freezer (we provide personal protective equipment for working in a cold area).
