Job Description

Posting Description Job Summary:
Supports benefits administration and enrollment operations through Bswift system management, COBRA enrollment processing, compliance-related activities, audits, carrier bill reconciliation, and data verification. Maintains accurate records and databases while ensuring HIPAA compliance and providing administrative support for enrollment and benefits processes. Job Responsibilities Extensive work on our enrollment software Bswift, updating client sites with pertinent data, rigorously following HIPAA guidelines. Updates COBRA participants by enrolling them when they have a qualifying event, growing knowledge in qualifying events and compliance. Performs audits for co-workers and clients within the enrollment department to ensure detailed operations. Verifies information and retrieves carrier bills by accessing carrier sites. Searches files, databases, or reference materials to acquire necessary information. Compiles, copies, sorts, and files records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities to maintain organization and efficiency. Operates office machines such as photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, postage meter, and computers with outstanding skill. Maintains and updates filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Files documents or records to maintain a tidy and effective workspace. Requirements To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following criteria: Currently enrolled in a related degree program (Finance, Business, Insurance, etc.) Strong academic performance Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Outstanding interpersonal and time management skills Rising Junior or Senior Preferred Able to work up to 15 to 20hours/week Join us and gain invaluable experience in the finance and insurance industry while working with professionals who are committed to helping you succeed. The base salary range for this position is $18 to $20 per hour. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. NFP and You... Better Together!
