Description Paws With A Cause® is looking for a part-time team member who is organized, detail-oriented, and friendly to join our Advancement team! The right person will be able to multi-task, handle shifting priorities, and stay organized! This is a Part-time, hourly position working 20 hours per week. Hourly rate is between $17

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting fundraising efforts through department support and exceptional customer service. The Advancement Assistant plays an important role in ensuring donors receive timely, accurate, and meaningful communication while helping maintain the integrity of the organization's fundraising systems and records. Key Accountabilities Admin Support to Advancement Leadership Advocate Ambassador for PAWS Essential Responsibilities Provide administrative support to advancement team leadership. This may include scheduling meetings, taking minutes, preparing materials, making travel arrangements, ordering and maintaining supplies, and coordinating calendars. Respond professionally and courteously to donor inquiries by phone, email, and mail. Prepare and distribute donor acknowledgements, tax receipts, and special donor notifications. Support database management and gift entry ensuring accurate donor record keeping. Support fundraising events through administrative coordination and maintaining attendee records. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems and uphold confidentiality of donor information. Non-Essential Responsibilities Assist with advancement-based research and writing projects as needed. Handwrite donor thank-you notes and cultivation cards. Participate in organization-wide events, volunteer activities, and other special projects as assigned. Supervision Received Specific Direction

Refers unique questions/conditions to immediate supervisor Supervisory Responsibilities No supervisory responsibilities Requirements Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative, database, or office support experience. Experience working in fundraising, nonprofit operations, or customer service preferred. Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT or CRM systems. Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfort with taking direction from multiple team members. Ability to independently research, organize, and share information from diverse sources. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT or similar CRM/database system. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism. Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork. Core competencies
