The district is actively seeking a full-time onsite social worker who holds a valid 310 certification and is dedicated to collaborative, student-centered support.
Key Qualifications:
Active 310 certification required Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution Prior experience in a school setting or with school-aged children preferred Strong understanding of social-emotional learning and behavioral interventions Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, staff, and families Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in all professional matters
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to develop intervention strategies and support plans Provide crisis intervention and support as needed within the school environment Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of 504 plans and other student support documentation Act as a resource for staff on mental health, trauma-informed practices, and community resources Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress, services delivered, and communications Enjoy the advantage of a competitive pay rate of $85 per hour, allowing you to devote your expertise to enhancing student lives in a supportive environment committed to student growth.
