Overview We are seeking a motivated Mid-Level Diesel Mechanic and after hours On-Call Roadside Assistance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with diesel vehicles, perform maintenance, and provide prompt roadside support. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles using mechanical knowledge and hand tools Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and engine tune-ups Utilize power tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot and repair vehicle systems Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls, providing on-site repairs as needed Use an ohmmeter to test electrical components and ensure proper vehicle functioning Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and roadside assistance incidents Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies Requirements Must have basic set of hand tools and tool box Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar automotive repair role with mid-level expertise Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, vehicle systems, and troubleshooting techniques Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately under pressure Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate service vehicles safely Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in various outdoor conditions Must be able to be on call for after hours roadside calls Join our team and be part of a company dedicated to delivering reliable service while supporting your growth as a skilled mechanic. Pay:
