The Assistant Principal participates in leading and managing school operations and efforts towards continuous improvement of teaching and achievement.

Responsibilities include:

providing leadership in the implementation of school improvement initiatives, instructional leadership and support to staff; creating a positive school culture and climate; student behavior management; and meeting the educational needs of special needs students. Candidates whose background includes experience in special education, social work/counseling, or assessment strongly encouraged to apply. MN License for administration required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Education. Three to five years Classroom experience. Three to five years Leadership/Administrative experience. Applicants with experience implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework will be strongly considered, specifically in the areas of: Behavior management and interventions Special Education SEL

PBIS License Requirements:

 State of Minnesota Administrative License K-12 and Teaching License.
