Job Summary:

The Bromfield Middle School is seeking a dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic full-time French teacher to join our school community at the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Reports to: School Principal

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver French instruction for middle school students (grades 6-8), ensuring alignment with the Massachusetts World Languages Curriculum Framework
• Create a classroom environment that supports belonging, risk-taking, collaboration, and active language use
• Adopt a UDL-based approach to meet the diverse needs of all learners
• Use a variety of instructional strategies, including communicative and proficiency-based approaches
• Assess student learning regularly and use data to inform instruction and provide meaningful feedback
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff regarding student progress
• Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
• Contribute positively to the school community and support a culture of dynamic learning and belonging

Qualifications/Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts DESE licensure in French at the appropriate grade level required.
• Prior experience as a teacher preferred.
• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred.
• Current authorization to work in the United States.
