Positions Available Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled MIG Welders with experience in heavy structural fabrication and equipment assembly. Ideal candidates will be proficient in FCAW and GMAW welding processes and capable of performing welds in multiple positions. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable manufacturing team with long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding using FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) and GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding). Weld in flat, overhead, horizontal, and vertical positions using 0.35 hardwire and 0.45 flux core. Execute gouging processes and operate air arc equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to complete welds to specification. Use various hand and power tools, including grinders, cutting torches, drills, and welding guns. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and rigging equipment safely. Conduct quality inspections and clean/improve welds to meet standards. Maintain welding equipment and complete daily maintenance checklists. Document production and quality activities using ERP software. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proficient with flux core welding and gouging techniques. Ability to pass a hands-on weld test. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Trade school or technical training is a plus. Must be able to read tape measures and blueprints accurately. AWS 4G qualification skills required. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
