Focused on pulse crops and regenerative agriculture, Timeless introduced Black Beluga Lentils® to the natural products industry in 1994. Now in its third decade, Timeless remains committed to regenerative agriculture, good health, and community development in Montana and beyond. Timeless was acquired in 2024 by Mad Markets, PBC. Position Summary Timeless Seeds, Inc. is seeking a Mill Operations Associate to join our Cleaner Crew in Ulm, MT. This is an entry-level, hands-on role focused on operating grain cleaning equipment, maintaining product quality, and supporting daily mill operations. No prior grain or pulse experience is required — Timeless is willing to train the right candidate.
Reporting Structure Reports to:
Mill Operations Lead / Plant Foreman Duties & Responsibilities Operate grain cleaning and handling equipment as directed by the Mill Operations Lead. Ensure products meet Timeless' quality standards through visual inspection and adherence to established protocols. Perform equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and report issues promptly. Complete all required paperwork, cleaning logs, and production documentation accurately. Adhere to all OSHA, food safety, and organic certification compliance requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mill area and facility grounds. Support the Mill Operations Lead with workflow execution, order sequencing, and production priorities. Additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Mill Operations Lead or Operations Manager. Education, Skills & Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive, cooperative attitude. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment. Basic verbal, reading, and written communication skills. Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Basic computer skills (willing to train the right candidate). Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to stand, kneel, walk, and climb stairs and ladders for extended periods. Ability to work in seasonal temperature extremes (subzero to 100°F+). Ability to work in environments with grain dust, noise, and conditions requiring PPE (masks, ear protection, eye protection). Flexibility with shift schedules. Preferred Qualifications Previous grain, pulse, or production facility experience. Basic mechanical abilities or willingness to learn. Basic fabrication or welding experience (or willingness to learn). Schedule This is a full-time position. Hours may vary based on operational need as determined by the Operations Manager, but typically will not exceed 40 hours per week. Compensation & Benefits This position is based in Ulm, MT. Competitive hourly compensation of $18.50-$25/hour, commensurate with experience, within the Crew pay band.
