Millwork Production & Shipping

Mobile Lumber is hiring millwork production and shipping/warehouse workers to work out of their facility in Bay Minette, Alabama. This is a full time position with benefits. Millwork experience (doors, windows, moulding, trim, stair parts, columns, etc.) is strongly PREFERRED and will be considered before applicants without industry experience. However, we will consider and train inexperienced applicants with strong work ethic and great attitude.

Production Duties:

Employee is to maintain a high level of production while maintaining the quality and integrity of the final product. Use hand tools and power tools to assemble components for the correct fit. Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet Mobile Lumber specs. Organize the production to meet delivery requirements. Determine material needed for each work order. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Warehouse Duties:

Receive incoming merchandise or material Load/Unload material onto trucks and trailers for delivery Perform other duties as assigned Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to read a tape measure Continuously stand, squat, bend, stoop, twist , climb, reach, walk and kneel Frequently push/pull up to 75 lbs and lift/carry up to 50 lbs Occasionally push/pull 100lbs or more and lift/carry 75 lbs or more Must be able to use hand and power tools correctly and safely. Work in an uncontrolled temperature environment.
