Mine Safety Superintendent

GMS is currently looking to add an experienced mining Safety Superintendent to our rapidly growing Hard Rock West Division. This position will focus on safety and training location near Lordsburg, NM. Both surface and underground mining experience is required. To gain consideration, candidates must possess their MSHA Blue Card (qualified to certify new miners and retrain experienced miners). While it's not required, candidates that can conduct training for rigging and/or fall protection will be more likely to gain consideration. Salary will be based on experience but will fall within the advertised range. Per diem may be eligible for those who qualify. This position will handle all day-to-day safety meetings, training, and job observations. The successful candidate for this position will teach new hire orientation. This candidate must be well organized and structured, keeping all records up to date.
