WHO MAY APPLY

All qualified Missouri traditional guard members and those eligible for enlistment, appointment or transfer into the Missouri Army Nional Guard. Duties Help Performs limited diagnosis, routine repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment, comb, tactical and automotive vehicles. Assists higher graded mechanics with repair and/or overhaul of internal combustion engines, turbine engines, automic and non-automic transmissions, heavy duty drive line systems, and hydraulic utility systems and controls. Makes routine repairs th can be accomplished by removing, adjusting, or replacing defective or worn parts and components. Determines when parts should be cleaned, adjusted or replaced with standard parts to complete work orders. Removes, replaces, adjusts, cleans and installs parts and components. Performs minor body and fender, or other metal repairs. Performs limited repairs and routine maintenance on small arms and accessory equipment by replacing worn or damaged parts. Makes minor repairs to canvas and leher items using bonding/sealing compounds and hand tools such as

awls, canvas needles etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Advanced in hire re may be granted to set pay above the minimum re of the grade for a new employee if he/she possesses superior qualificions relevant to the positions' requirements and is essential to accomplish the agency's mission. Creditable Service for Annual Leave accrual may be granted to new employees if he/she possesses superior qualificions essential to the position; and which were acquired through performance in a non-federal or active duty uniformed service position. The duties performed in a non-federal or active duty uniformed service position must directly rele to the position to which appointed and such qualificions are necessary to achieve an important agency mission or performance goal to be eligible. Failure to complete management prescribed courses for full-time support personnel within the first year of employment or assignment, may be cause for reassignment or terminion.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS

Selected candide must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Army Nional Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade - 1SG (E-8) with de of rank after 25 May 2025 GENERAL

EXPERIENCE

: Must possess experience, educion or training which demonstres knowledge of equipment to be able to do routine jobs, simple preventive maintenance tasks, and able to use common tools and equipment in the line of work.

WG-08 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

Must possess specialized experience in removing, adjusting, replacing, cleaning, and installing parts and components of comb, tactical, commercial, automotive, and special purpose vehicles and equipment. Experience must also demonstre basic understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumic, and other non-mechanical systems theories, and skill to replace, fit, install and adjust systems. Experience in reading and interpreting parts list, manufacturer's repair manuals, technical manuals, diagrams, engineering drawings, and schemics.
