Full Job Description Job Description:

This is a highly skilled maintenance position. Your focus would be to troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines and all ancillary/auxiliary equipment including automation. Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and maintenance of machines. Works with minimal supervision, capable of setting own priorities and reprioritizing as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities Include:

Repair Injection molding machines, robots, fixtures, and other auxiliary equipment related to the injection molding process. Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings. Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment. Identify and requisition needed replacement parts and supplies. Work with other mechanics, production personnel, engineers and outside vendors and/or consultants as necessary. Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance using current system. Complete repairs timely and safely. Report repairs at end of shift. Complete required paperwork, documenting parts and material usage. Understand and follow plant safety practices and safe machine operation. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics. Ability to troubleshoot automation PLC controls. Ability to operate lathes, milling machines, welders, and other shop equipment. General knowledge of safe working practices including Lock-Out/Tag Out. Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to interpret complex situations and execute actions and plans. Excellent project management skills - ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines. Must be able to work in a cross functional organization Must supply own hand tools

Physical Demands:

Must be physically able to stand for long periods, bend, and climb ladder in conducting maintenance on equipment Willingness and ability to lift approximately 75 lbs.
