We are a relationship-focused, quality-first grooming business that prioritizes gentle handling, pet safety, and a low-stress experience for every dog in our care. We pride ourselves on creating a professional, drama-free, and supportive work environment where groomers are respected as skilled professionals — not rushed, overbooked, or burned out. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced, professional dog groomer to join our growing team in a part-time capacity with the opportunity to transition to full-time as our clientele continues to expand.

Current Schedule:

Two days a week 9-hour shifts This role is ideal for a groomer who wants consistency now, with the potential to grow into a full-time position as demand increases. We currently have an established and growing client base — and there is still room for you to bring your own clients if you have them. What You'll Do Perform breed-standard and pet-style haircuts Safely handle dogs of all sizes, coat types, and temperaments Bathe, dry, brush, de-shed, clip nails, clean ears, and finish grooms Communicate clearly with clients about coat condition, maintenance, and at-home care Work collaboratively with the Gold Paw team to ensure smooth daily operations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming space What We're Looking For Minimum 2-3 years professional grooming experience (preferred) Ability to groom a variety of breeds and coat types Strong animal handling skills, including challenging coats and behaviors Professional, reliable, and positive attitude Excellent time management and attention to detail Comfortable using salon communication tools (we use Connecteams for team messaging and resources and MoeGo for client management) Why Work at Gold Paw?
