Montessori Certified Teacher

Magnolia Children's Forest Garden is seeking a passionate Montessori Certified Teacher to join our growing nature-based learning community in the Pocono Mountains. MCFG is a Montessori-inspired forest school where children learn through hands-on exploration, creativity, and connection with nature. Our students spend a significant portion of the day outdoors in our 108 acres of forest, mountain stream, gardens, and natural learning environments. We are currently hiring teachers to guide students in the following age groups: Ages 4-6 (Primary) Ages 6-9 (Lower Elementary) Responsibilities Guide children using Montessori philosophy and materials Prepare and maintain a beautiful, organized Montessori classroom environment Support nature-based and outdoor learning experiences Foster children's independence, curiosity, and creativity Collaborate with our teaching team to implement integrated curriculum including nature studies, practical life skills, and creative arts Communicate with parents and support a strong school community Qualifications AMI or AMS Montessori Certification (Primary or Elementary preferred) Experience working with children ages 4-9 Passion for nature-based education and child-led learning Warm, patient, and collaborative personality Love of outdoor environments and experiential learning What Makes MCFG Unique Montessori education blended with Forest School philosophy Children spend up to 80% of their day outdoors Beautiful campus with forest trails, stream, gardens, and natural pool Creative curriculum including arts, homesteading, language immersion, mindfulness, and outdoor exploration Supportive and inspired parent community Schedule Part-Time or Full-Time Available Flexible scheduling options depending on the program and age group.
