Montessori Director

Are you a passionate Montessori educator and leader ready to put your stamp on a school and reap the rewards of its growth? We are seeking a dedicated, authentic Montessori School Director to lead our campus. Because we have incredible room for growth, we are looking for an entrepreneurial leader who is excited to build community and drive enrollment to full capacity. We currently operate a vibrant hybrid model: our Infant and Toddler classrooms utilize the trusted Frog Street curriculum, while our Primary classrooms practice a blended Montessori approach. Our ideal leader is someone with deep Montessori roots who can help us strengthen our authentic Montessori practices in the Primary rooms while effectively managing our diverse program. What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):

Lead & Inspire:

Oversee daily operations, mentor teaching staff, and foster a warm, inclusive, and professional school culture.

Curriculum Oversight:

Support teachers in our hybrid model, ensuring high-quality implementation of Frog Street (Infants/Toddlers) and guiding the Primary classrooms toward stronger, more authentic Montessori practices.

Drive Enrollment & Growth:

Implement strategies to connect with local families, conduct school tours, and grow our current enrollment from 98 toward our 150-child capacity.

Compliance & Operations:

Ensure total compliance with Texas Child Care Regulation (CCR) standards and safety protocols.

Community Building:

Build strong, trusting relationships with parents through transparent communication and family events. What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

Montessori Credential:

Strongly preferred (AMS, AMI, MACTE, or equivalent).

Director Credentials:

Must meet all Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) requirements for a Child Care Center Director (Director License/Certificate required).

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in early childhood administration or school leadership. Experience in a Montessori environment is highly desired.

Growth Mindset:

A proactive leader who loves the business side of childcare (enrollment, marketing, tours) just as much as the educational side.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary:

$50,000 - $60,000 a year (depending on experience and credentials).
