Montessori Early Learning Summer Teacher Assistant

JOB SUMMARY

Palmyra-Eagle Montessori is seeking an Early Learning Center Summer Teacher Assistant. It is a part-time summer only position. The Early Learning Center Summer Teacher Assistant will be able to interpret and assess individual children's needs, communicate clearly and collaboratively with families and colleagues, and work under the supervision of the Program Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates will have experience or education in Early Childhood and/or Montessori philosophy. Meeting the standards for a Teacher or Assistant Teacher according to the Wisconsin DCF Rule 251. Having or obtaining a current and accessible WI Registry file is helpful. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and passionate about early childhood education and the Montessori philosophy, with strong classroom management skills, an understanding of child development, and the ability to work as a team. Must pass a criminal background check.
