Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Mosquito Control Technician and play a vital role in safeguarding communities from mosquito-borne illnesses. In this energetic and hands-on position, you will be responsible for implementing mosquito control strategies, applying treatments, and maintaining equipment to ensure effective pest management. Your proactive approach will help create healthier outdoor environments, making a real difference in public health and comfort. Responsibilities Conduct inspections of targeted areas to identify mosquito breeding sites and areas of concern Apply approved mosquito control treatments using hand tools, power tools, or farm machinery with precision and safety Maintain and calibrate equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance during treatments Use land management techniques such as landscaping or lawn care tools to eliminate standing water or breeding habitats Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Record detailed logs of treatments performed, locations covered, and materials used for compliance and reporting purposes Assist with the setup and cleanup of treatment sites, ensuring environmental safety standards are met Skills Strong knowledge of pest control methods, especially related to mosquitoes and breeding habitats Experience with lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture practices beneficial for habitat management Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively Valid driving license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles Familiarity with land management techniques such as drainage or vegetation control is a plus Excellent attention to detail for accurate record keeping and site assessments Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a positive impact on public health through active pest management.
