- Chapter 13 Trustee's Office Eastern District of North Carolina The Chapter 13 Trustee for the Eastern District of North Carolina is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Motions Analyst. This position plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day administration of chapter 13 bankruptcy cases within a professional legal setting. Position Overview The Motions Analyst will utilize case management software to receive, review, analyze, and report on various motions filed in chapter 13 bankruptcy cases, as well as draft appropriate pleadings and handle related correspondences. A component of this role also involves data entry, which demands a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in recording and inputting case information correctly and consistently. Qualifications & Requirements Prior experience in bankruptcy law is strongly preferred, though candidates with transferable legal or analytical experience are encouraged to apply Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, precise, and professional correspondence High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly as it relates to data entry and case record management Intermediate mathematical proficiency Ability to manage and prioritize work effectively under continuous, recurring deadlines Willingness to submit to a criminal background check, credit background check, drug screening, and skills assessments in mathematics and writing Work Arrangement The ability to work remotely is possible but not guaranteed Compensation Salary is commensurate with experience.
