Job Description

We're a fun, upbeat orthodontic office that loves what we do—and we're looking for an Orthodontic Assistant who's excited to jump in and grow with us. Our days move quickly, our team works closely together, and we take pride in creating a positive, welcoming experience for every patient. We're looking for someone who's eager to learn, happy to help wherever needed, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Duties:
  • Assist the orthodontist in providing patient care and treatment during orthodontic procedures
  • X-ray certification required
  • Knowledge of how to sterilize and maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment
  • Assisting with patient scheduling and record keeping.
  • Assist with patient assessment, including taking dental impressions and X-rays
  • Taking impressions and/or Itero Scans for orthodontic appliances
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care and communicate effectively with patients and their families to address questions and concerns.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
  • Orthodontic assisting experience required (no need to apply if you have not worked as an orthodontic assistant)
  • Current certification as a dental assistant or orthodontic assistant preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality orthodontic care to our patients.
You will work closely with the orthodontist to ensure that each patient receives personalized treatment and achieves optimal oral health. This position requires a high level of professionalism, technical skill, and compassion for patients.
