Motorhand

A Motorhand provides manual labor as required to operate and maintain the rigs diesel and electric engines. The Motorhand orders tools and replacement parts for these engines and is responsible for testing the machinery for operability and safety and is required to clean and maintain engines at all times. They also operate and maintain the boiler systems. Motorhands are responsible for the training, supervising and assisting of other crew members as required. Actively participates in the promotion of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment policies and ensure safe working practices and conditions Reports immediately any incident or accident Attends daily safety meeting Maintains an up to date training schedule as per requirements Participates in pre-task safety meetings prior to any tasks that require them Maintains a solid understanding of all equipment and operational policies and procedures Executes tasks as they are provided by senior crew members Ensures communication of all activities being conducted is maintained between any parties participating in the function Ensures all tasks are being completed in a safe and efficient manner Wage is $29.00/hr AKITA offers comprehensive benefits including Medical/Dental/Vision PPO plans, Short/Long Term Disability, Life Insurance/ADD, Flexible Spending Accounts and Safe Harbor 401k
