Mower/Landscaper

Duties Operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, edging, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and tidy. Use hand tools and machinery like shovels, rakes, and excavators for planting beds, soil preparation, or minor landscaping modifications. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and sometimes removal using appropriate equipment. Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Execute snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for pedestrians and vehicles. Maintain equipment through routine checks and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance during daily operations. Experience Prior experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators or snow plows is advantageous. Familiarity with horticulture principles including plant health, soil preparation, and garden design. Knowledge of landscape construction techniques including hardscape features like patios or walkways. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Experience with tree care practices such as trimming or removal enhances your suitability for this role. Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for gardening practices is a plus.
