Multifamily Assistant Superintendent We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Assistant Superintendent to join a great team and learn from very experienced Field Managers while working on negotiated projects. Qualifications 1+ years experience on commercial or multifamily construction projects in a construction management capacity or a construction management degree Some multifamily experience preferred Experience in sitework considered a plus but not required

Responsibilities:

Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily operations on multifamily construction projects Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards Conduct regular site inspections to maintain safety standards and identify potential issues Assist in developing and updating project schedules Manage material deliveries and inventory on-site Maintain accurate daily logs and project documentation Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations Assist in resolving field issues and coordinating solutions with the project team

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience) Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and industry standards Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) OSHA 30-hour certification Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Ideal candidates The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a passion for construction and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
