- Responsible for development, coordination, communication, collaboration, and overall management of the DRS marketing effort.
This includes overseeing Integrated Relationship Management (IRM), improving consumer and dealer education, developing and coordinating marketing efforts with Truist Marketing, and developing and delivering internal sales training. All of this is done with the end objective being to create a differentiated client intimate business model approach. This responsibility expands to all aspects of the DRS sales process which includes but not limited to sales team management, process development and implementation, dealer management and segmentation, and managing compliance factors associated with the origination of indirect auto loans.
- Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
- 1.
Oversee and collaborate with key Senior Leadership group (SLG) teammates on the development, approval, and delivery of all marketing resources within DRS to include dealer and client communication. This includes websites and mobile applications ensuring digital resources are appropriately aligned with overall strategy and brand. 2. Develop, train, monitor, and collaborate our differentiated client intimate approach by ensuring that Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) is the foundation of our auto and marine/RV strategy. This includes the development and implementation of quarterly campaigns with specific focus around IRM goals to drive performance and deepen client relationships (B2B) and the development, marketing, and the delivery of valuable Truist solutions to retail clients (B2C). 3. Develop and deliver training regarding defined Natural Fit IRM Partnerships to our national sales force that helps to operationalize our differentiated IRM strategy. 4. Work to provide excellent communication across DRS business lines regarding sales approaches and strategic direction to ensure businesses remain aligned and messaging in our markets is consistent and well-integrated. 5. Identify and minimize risk by executing on strategies designed in conjunction with our dealer management process to reduce the bank's exposure to operational and reputational risk. 6. Lead the combined DRS sales team of 70+ teammates, which includes Dealer Relationship Managers (DRM) and Sales Team Leads, towards primary business targets which include volume, efficiency, profit, and losses. 7. Execute on dealer segmentation by understanding and analyzing trends on how the active dealer base contributes to the overall contract volume and production month to month. 8. Have input and direction in territory management as it applies to the number of dealerships DRMs call on and approve the addition of new dealerships being added and dealerships being deactivated though the dealer management process. 9. Serve as a member our Senior Leadership Group in managing the DRS division.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent education and related training or experience 2. Minimum 10 years' experience in the financial services industry with specific experience in sales 3. Excellent leadership skills with minimum of 5 years' experience in team building and management 4.
