NC Pre-K Lead Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NC Pre-K Lead Teachers who have obtained their Professional Educators License in B-K to provide high-quality early childhood education to preschool-aged children,. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment that promotes childhood development, literacy, and social-emotional skills. This role involves curriculum development, classroom management, and collaboration with families and staff to ensure the success of each child's learning experience. The Lead Teacher will play a vital role in fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere aligned with early childhood education standards. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on early childhood development, literacy education, math, and physical education. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, standardized testing preparation, and child welfare principles. Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children, including toddlers and preschoolers. Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions and emotional growth among students. Conduct assessments of children's progress through observations, documentation, and standardized testing tools. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention programs. Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and lesson plans in compliance with state regulations. Supervise assistant teachers or aides as needed while fostering teamwork within the classroom setting. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood education trends, classroom management strategies, and curriculum enhancements. Qualifications Obtains a Professional Educators License in Birth-Kindergarten or Preschool Add On Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Experience with curriculum development across literacy education, math, physical education, and special education needs including early intervention programs. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is preferred. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, and community partners. Ability to plan engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental levels. Certification or credentials in early childhood education or related fields are highly desirable. Experience working with standardized testing protocols and tutoring is a plus. Pay:

$4,100.00 - $6,266.00 per month
