Essential Functions:
Assists unit leadership in planning simulation training that will meet collective training objectives Plans, coordinates, and executes simulation training at echelons ranging from Squad to Corps on various programs such as LOTS, DXTRS, ExCIS, JLCCTC, JDLM, IEWTPT, VBS3 / VBS4, JCATS, NGC, etc. Perform classroom setup, networking of systems, and supporting simulations, and instruction on applicable mission command information systems Executes training on the system IAW Army standard Programs of Instruction (POI) following approved course instructional times Provides individual MCS training to standard and on time, with 90% of the students successfully completing the course of instruction and receiving system certification Follows doctrine outlined in the TC 6-0 series "Training the Mission Command Warfighting Function" Teach and coach during exercise/event execution, Battle Simulation WorkStation (BSWS) functionality and operations to the training unit personnel who will operate simulation workstations during exercises and class training events Prepared to operate BSWS during execution of a training event.
Requirements:
Active Secret security clearance (Required). Bachelor's degree Recently retired or separated Army senior Non-Commissioned Officer / Warrant Officer / Officer with at least 6 years of Battalion or higher echelon staff experience using Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) Must possess a valid State Driver's License and maintain Fort Bragg driving privileges Advance knowledge of their principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of Army simulation training programs Knowledge of one or more Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) Must demonstrate effective teaching, instruction, presentation, and communication skills Must have excellent verbal communication skills for interfacing with military and civilian personnel Army Warfighting Simulation (WARSIM) and Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) experience is preferred.
