• Plans, directs and coordinates activities of work cell to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame.
• Willing to fill in as needed in the work cell to aid in managing flow of product when needed. Upholstery skills are required.
• Reviews daily schedule to determine time for completing projects.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of schedule and arranges for assignment of personnel.
• Reviews and modifies schedules or plans as required.
• Prepares cell reports for management.
• Confers with plant management to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
• Make sure all team members specialize in one job, but are cross trained on others to keep the workflow going.
• Make sure all supplies are in the work area for employees to complete the job.
• Enforce company rules and regulations to employees.
