NDT/NDI LEVEL II INSPECTOR
- RADIOGRAPHY TESTING (FALCON) The NDE Operations organization at SpaceX is an inclusive, interdisciplinary team that is committed to providing high-quality inspections of flight components and production assemblies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform surface and volumetric NDE inspections Interpret, evaluate, communicate, and report findings to production and engineering teams Interpret and review engineering drawings as required Support the development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries Support research and development of future ultrasonic technology for operational improvements Assist in training and developing others within the teamBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalency certificate NDE level II certification in line with ASNT-TC-1A or NAS-410 or DoD guidance in Radiographic Testing (RT)PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
2+ years of experience as a levelII NDE/NDT
inspector Nondestructive evaluation Level II certification in line with ASNT TC-1A, NAS-410, or DOD guidance in one or more of the following methods: Ultrasonic (UT), Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), Eddy Current (ET), Digital Radiography (DR), or Computed Radiography (CR) Operational experience utilizing NDE methods for the inspection of weldments and castings Knowledge of UTEX InspectionWare software or equivalent Hands-on experience using portable digital equipment: OlympusEPOCH 600, USM
Go/USM Go+ scopes Knowledge ofNASA 5009
standards Knowledge ofAMS, AWS/ASME, ASTM
standards Experience with problem solving tools and techniques including: practical problem solving (PPS), and eight disciplines (8D) Basic understanding of lean principles: 5S, kaizen, continuous improvement initiatives Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Pay range: NDT/NDI Level II Inspector/Grade 1: $25.00- $35.00/hour NDT/NDI Level II Inspector/Grade 2: $30.00
- $40.00/hour NDT/NDI Level II Inspector/Grade 3: $35.00
- $45.00/hour NDT/NDI Level II Inspector/Grade 4: $43.00
- $54.00/hour NDT/NDI Level II Inspector/Grade 5: $50.00
