Network Administrator

Our client in the telecommunications space is looking for a Network Administrator to support and maintain their environment while helping modernize key parts of their infrastructure. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, server administration, and ongoing system improvements.

What you'll do:

Manage and support a 40+ server environment across primarily Windows systemsAdminister Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, user management, and overall tenant supportPerform Windows server upgrades, migrations, and ongoing maintenanceSupport and manage Intune for endpoint configuration and device managementAssist with virtualization efforts, including transitioning from KVM to Hyper-VHandle general system administration tasks across servers and enterprise systemsProvide light network administration support, including work with UniFiTroubleshoot DNS, IP routing, and connectivity issuesSupport and coordinate with an external MSP for antivirus and remote managementWhat they're looking for:

Strong experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange OnlineSolid background in Windows server administration and upgrades/migrationsExperience with Intune or similar endpoint management toolsExposure to virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or KVMBasic networking knowledge including DNS and IP routingAbility to work independently and take ownership of systems and improvementsSome exposure to Linux environments is helpful but not requiredNice to have:

Experience with Cloudflare, including DNS hosting and web application firewall (WAF)Experience transitioning off MSP-managed tools to internal ownershipFamiliarity with UniFi networking environments
