8+ Years | Enterprise Environment Position Overview We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Network and Systems Administrator to lead our District's enterprise technology environment. You will be the architect and guardian of our digital infrastructure—overseeing everything from network design and cybersecurity to AI-powered threat detection and cloud integrations.
Your mission:
ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing technology that powers teaching, learning, and district-wide operations.
The Tech Stack Infrastructure:
Enterprise switching/routing, Wireless, Fiber backbone, VoIP, and UPS systems.
Systems:
Windows Server, Linux (various distros), Hyper-V, and Containerization.
Cloud & Identity:
AWS, Google Workspace for Education, M365, Active Directory, and SSO.
Security:
AI-powered threat detection (NDR), Centralized Logging, and Password Management.
Endpoints:
Windows 11 and Apple (MDM).
Storage:
SAN/NAS, Snapshots, Replication, and Disaster Recovery.
Core Responsibilities Architecture & Management:
Design and maintain robust LAN/WAN environments and server infrastructure (virtual & physical).
Cybersecurity Operations:
Manage NDR platforms, respond to incidents, and conduct vulnerability scans to protect student and district data.
Business Continuity:
Lead backup, disaster recovery, and data retention strategies to ensure 24/7 operational resilience.
Project Leadership:
Lead high-impact infrastructure projects, manage vendor SLAs, and mentor junior IT staff.
Optimization:
Monitor performance, automate workflows, and maintain detailed documentation of network topologies.
Qualifications Experience:
8+ years in enterprise systems/network administration (Education sector experience is a major plus).
Education:
A degree in a related field OR an equivalent mix of professional experience and certifications.
Certifications:
MCSE, Security+, or Network+ are highly valued.
Mindset:
A proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between complex tech and educational needs.
Physical:
