The institution provides comprehensive neurosurgical services with advanced capabilities for stroke interventions and emergency neurological procedures. About the Facility Location This Pacific Northwest region offers diverse natural attractions including Lake Quinault and the Rain Forest Nature Trail, providing opportunities for hiking and wildlife observation. The area features established tour options such as Multnomah Falls and Columbia River Gorge excursions, along with Mount Rainier day tours. Visitors can engage in outdoor activities including biking, hiking, and kayaking throughout the region's varied landscape. About the Clinicians Workday The neurosurgeon will provide comprehensive stroke call coverage and interventional services working 3-6 days per month on 24-hour call schedules. Primary responsibilities include performing craniotomy procedures and stroke interventions while responding to emergency consultations requiring immediate intervention. The clinician must maintain board certification in neurological surgery and demonstrate expertise in stroke management while coordinating care with facility staff. Essential duties include evaluating emergency stroke cases, performing complex interventional procedures, and ensuring continuous availability for stroke activations and emergency surgical interventions.
