The VLS Technician would be responsible for a range of mechanical and labor functions in a manufacturing environment. Equipment Operations & Maintenance:
Setup, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment, power/hand tools, and test gear.
Production & Target Adherence:
Execute daily schedules using paints, solvents, adhesives, and primers to consistently meet or exceed output targets.
Quality Assurance & Safety:
Perform visual quality inspections, follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), and adhere to PPE requirements.
Documentation & Communication:
Maintain precise departmental records and collaborate cross-functionally with leaders and engineers to resolve technical issues.
Flexible Execution:
Adapt to additional operational duties as assigned.
qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status required. GED or High School Diploma required.
Relevant Work Experience:
2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work independently and within a team. Ability to perform basic math, reading, writing and computer skills such as basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and use of Microsoft Office.
Personal/ Soft skills:
Must Demonstrate effective organizational and verbal/written English communication skills. Ability to lift and or move up to 40 lbs.
