NICU Registered Nurse in Madera, CA Soliant - 3.9 Madera, CA Job Details Contract $26.59 - $50.00 an hour Qualifications NRP Certification NICU experience RN License Patient assessment BLS Certification Critical & intensive care Pediatric critical & intensive care Neonatology Basic life support Full Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years NICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Deliver advanced care to newborns in a dynamic neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), utilizing your nursing expertise to provide exceptional patient outcomes. This opportunity allows you to work alongside dedicated professionals, supporting infants and families through critical and rewarding moments. The contract position calls for registered nurses with NICU experience who are passionate about neonatal care and eager to make a vital impact.
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license Minimum one year of recent experience in a NICU setting BLS and NRP certifications required Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills Strong ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and performing specialized interventions Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate and support families on neonatal conditions, treatments, and home care needs Accurately document patient care activities and changes in condition Maintain infection control and safety standards within the unit
