Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Advance your career in diagnostic imaging with an exciting opportunity as an Echo Technologist! This contract role seeks a skilled professional with expertise in echocardiography to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging studies, supporting the clinical team in providing outstanding patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
Registered or registry-eligible in echocardiography (RDCS, RCS, or equivalent credential preferred) Proven experience performing a wide variety of echocardiographic procedures, including transthoracic and stress echocardiograms Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology Skilled in the operation and maintenance of ultrasound and echo imaging equipment Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and colleagues Current BLS certification required
Schedule:
Contract assignment; schedule details to be confirmed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct echocardiographic exams per physician orders, ensuring optimal image quality and accurate assessments Collaborate with the healthcare team to review findings and document results in electronic health records Maintain equipment cleanliness, perform quality assurance checks, and troubleshoot technical issues as needed Prioritize patient safety and comfort, monitoring vital signs throughout procedures Stay current with best practices and continuing education in cardiac imaging
