High School Shared-Time Healthcare Program Reports to: HSST Program Director & Campus Director Eastwick College in Hackensack is seeking a New Jersey Licensed Home Health Aide (HHA) Instructor to support and oversee HHA training within our High School Shared-Time (HSST) Healthcare Program. This part‑time role involves assisting and supervising the HHA instructional assistant, ensuring compliance with NJ Board of Nursing regulations, and signing off on student HHA applications and required documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified HHA Instructor who enjoys working with high school students and is committed to preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Deliver Home Health Aide instruction to high school students enrolled in the Shared-Time Healthcare Program. Supervise and support the HHA instructional assistant during skills training and classroom activities. Oversee and sign off on all required HHA applications, clinical skills checklists, and NJ Board of Nursing documentation. Ensure all curriculum, skills instruction, and evaluations comply with NJ Board of Nursing and NJ Department of Education regulations. Maintain accurate student attendance, progress, and performance records. Provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for students. Communicate regularly with the HSST Program Director and Campus Director regarding student progress, program needs, and compliance requirements. Participate in occasional program meetings, training updates, or required professional development sessions. Required Qualifications Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with good standing. Current NJ Home Health Aide Instructor certification (required). Minimum one year of experience in home care, long-term care, or a related direct-care setting. Experience teaching or training students preferred (high school or adult learners). Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate high school students with varying learning needs. Schedule & Compensation Part-time position: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM (15 hours/week).
